About the event

This is an adults only session to collect and identify aquatic invertebrates and to learn more about the other insects using the ponds and the plants within and near the ponds.

Dogs

On a lead

Dogs are welcome on the reserve, but please keep them out of the lake. We ask that you keep dogs under close control at all times. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the visitor centre on a lead.

Wheelchair access

Wheelchair users can access the centre and our paths are accessible by some wheelchairs but can get muddy after rain.

What to bring

You can bring your own notebook to record your finds.

Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather; rubber gloves if you don't like mud; footwear that can get wet if necessary.
