What to bring

We will be outside for the whole session so please bring:

  • A bottle of water and a snack (Please DO NOT bring food that contains or may contain nuts).
  • Please wear clothes which you don’t mind getting dirty – we will be carrying out some hands on activities around the reserve so long trousers and long sleeves are required, or bring something to put on/ cover up with.  Wear lots of warm layers on cold days and sun cream and a hat on sunny days. Bring a waterproof coat with you and wear sturdy, waterproof footwear such as wellies or trainers – no open- toe sandals.  It may be a good idea to bring a change of footwear with you as we will be outside most of the time and may get wet!  We’ll supply work gloves when required.

  • Insect repellent.
