About the event

Swift numbers in Britain have been declining steadily for 30 years or more.

This was the reason why the Cherwell Swifts Conservation Project began and why we decided to gather all the information we could about Swifts nesting in the District, as well as providing new nest places and supporting other conservation efforts.

The talk will cover the reasons why the national population has declined, local conservation work and our plan to find out how Swifts are faring in Bicester in 2024.
