About the event

Wildlife and seasonal themed activities for teenagers to explore and engage in the great outdoors! Sessions last for 2 hours and are packed full of activities to teach you about the natural world that surrounds you.

Over the course of a year, you can expect to:
🌳 Learn about wildlife including insects, plants, birds and mammals
🌳 Complete valuable conservation work and learn how to use tools safely
🌳 Develop bush craft skills including fire lighting and campfire cooking

This club is for children only - no adults to accompany please. A consent form must be completed and returned for each child before the session - details will be sent after booking.

Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre. 

Please do not allow children to attend who are unwell, have flu or covid-like symptoms or who have tested positive for Covid-19.

What to bring

The club will run outside on the reserve so please come dressed for the weather - warm clothing layers with long trousers and a waterproof on cold/wet days and sunhat/sun cream on hot days. Sturdy footwear for walking on uneven ground. A drink and snack will be provided during the session. Bringing a change of clothing may be useful on wet days. Further information will be sent upon booking.
