A free day-workshop for community groups interested in learning more about plant identification.
About the event
BBOWT's aim is to empower more local groups to take action for nature on their patch. At this interactive session we will help you develop your skills and confidence in identifying plants.Â
This workshop will cover:
- Importance of plants
- Plant morphology - flowers, leaves, and stems
- Plant nomenclature
- Family characteristics
- Specimen identification activities
- Basic site surveying
- Field identification activities
