Winter Wreath Making Kits (Click and Collect) - Sutton Courtenay, Thursday 27 November
About the event
Support your local Wildlife Trust and create a sustainable eco-friendly Christmas wreath this year by purchasing our wild winter wreath kit! The kit includes everything you need to enjoy your own festive wreath making session with your family and come out with a unique decoration to adorn your door throughout the season. Kit includes a wreath base made of willow grown on one of our reserves, foliage and natural decorations, wire, and an exclusive link to an instructional video on how to make your Christmas wreath.
This kit is for collection from Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre – Thursday 27th November –12.30pm - 6pm
What your wreath making kit includes:A wreath base woven from willow grown on one of our nature reservesA selection of foliage and other natural items from BBOWT nature reservesAll the attachments you need to help secure your foliage and decoration, and make a loop to hang your wreath withInstruction sheetPrivate link to an instructional video to help make your winter wreath
What you need to add:A pair of garden secateurs or similar for trimming foliage, festive music to get you in the mood, your favourite seasonal drinks and snacks! Optional: gardening gloves for handling prickly foliageOptional: Any extra decorations you want to add e.g. ribbons, baubles or dried orange slices

Collect your wreath kit from Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre on Thursday 27th November between 12.30pm and 6pm. (For wreath making workshops or other collection times please visit www.bbowt.org.uk/events.) Please store your kit in a cold place eg a garage/outside until you are ready to use it to avoid the foliage drying out. We recommend making your wreath within a few days of collecting your kit. Completed wreaths should stay fresh on your front door - they just don't like central heating!Suitable for
