Philanthropy at BBOWT

Funding nature's recovery - for wildlife, people and our climate.

Amid this climate and nature crisis, we believe in a world where wildlife can flourish. Generous support from donors like you is pivotal to helping us save, restore, and protect wildlife across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Philanthropy

Philanthropic gifts - from individuals, families, or through foundations - can help us to build the resilience we require to not only combat the climate and ecological crisis, but to provide havens for people and wildlife.

We believe philanthropy is about working together with donors to achieve maximum impact. Therefore, we offer a programme of bespoke visits and unique events, all designed to offer a deeper insight into our work and ambitions.

We truly value your strong commitment, trust and voice. To show our appreciation, we are proud to offer two philanthropy programmes:

It’s not too late to save our wildlife, but we must act together.
Sir David Attenborough

Every gift - no matter how large or small - matters to us as we work to create a better future for wildlife.

If you are eligible for Gift Aid, it can make your donation go even further. This allows BBOWT to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no additional cost to you.

By including a gift in your will to BBOWT, you could reduce the amount of inheritance tax that you pay.

What your gift can achieve

Current and previous donors have given nature more space through land acquisitions, such as those at Lyscombe and Wild Woodbury, as well as supporting projects and programmes that protect, champion and save wildlife and wild places.

Your support also goes towards essential costs such as maintenance for our sites and staff costs, without which we would be unable to do our wonderful, and ever-more-necessary work.

By choosing to support BBOWT, you will become an integral part of our mission to deliver action for nature, people and climate. We look forward to working with you.
