About the event

Our Scots Pine Christmas trees are the by-product of heathland management work to reduce shading out of the heather and reduce loss of water through transpiration. They never drop their leaves, and have a wonderful pine scent.

We also sell other natural decorations, although holly berries may be in short supply as they are ripening so early this year.

RSPB, BBOWT and Fair Trade stalls will have a range of Christmas presents, cards and calendars. There will also be bird food, bird boxes, hedgehog boxes and two local wood workers have practical and beautiful products on sale. Finally, beekeepers are selling local honey and beeswax candles.
