About the event

Technology is revolutionising the way in which we survey for wildlife.

Dr Henrietta Pringle (People’s Trust for Endangered Species and British Hedgehog Preservation Society) and Maddie Davis (Bat Conservation Trust) demonstrate how AI and machine learning tools can be harnessed for mammal monitoring, enhancing species detection, improving survey efficiency, and ultimately supporting conservation effort.

The talk will cover new projects for mammal surveying and seek volunteers to take part.

This talk is arranged by Reading and District Natural History Society in conjunction with BBOWT. There are 45 free places for non-RDNHS members. Please contact RDNHSzoom@outlook.com if you would like to attend.
