As a vital part of the livestock management team, you will assist a group of volunteers and staff in monitoring the health and welfare of BBOWT’s Exmoor and New Forest Ponies at Snelsmore Common Country Park.

You'll visit the reserve on Sunday each week to make sure the correct number of ponies are present and conduct a visual health check to assess the ponies' condition and report any concerns or queries to BBOWT staff.

You will also perform a site patrol to report issues such as broken fences or gates, problems with water troughs, or inappropriate behaviour on the reserve.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about wildlife and conservation, able to commit to a regular weekly visit, and is observant and able to spot potential issues.
