About the event

Join our friendly Nature Tots staff and volunteers to explore the nature reserve and enjoy wildlife themed activities suitable for children aged 18 months to 4 years. Tots can take part in outdoor nature play, stories, trails and crafts.


All activities will take place outdoors and we recommend appropriate clothing for all weathers.


This event is for children 18 months - 4 years old and we recommend that your child should be a confident walker to get the most out of the experience.


Children must be accompanied by an adult who is able to encourage and help them with the various self-guided activities.


You only need to book a place for your child, not for the accompanying adult.

£10 per child & booking fee. Accompanying adults free.

Dogs

On a lead

Dogs are welcome on the reserve but not during the session - some children may be nervous.

Mobility

Please contact event organiser if you have limited mobility. The site is usually accessible for buggies and some wheelchairs but can be muddy after rain.

Accessible to some wheelchairs, but can be muddy after rain.

What to bring

Please check the weather forecast and dress your child (and yourself) appropriately as all activities take place outside.
Feel free to bring a snack and a drink. Our benches and picnic tables are available, and you're welcome to eat your snack during story time or at the end of the session.
