About the event

Why do so many Christmas cards feature robins? What kind of partridge might be sitting in a pear tree and what is a 'colly' bird? Why do so many of us eat turkeys for Christmas dinner?

Find out about these and other festive connections to our feathered friends in a fascinating look at Christmas traditions.

Sessions involve a bird spotting walk which is optional and may vary in duration due to Ailsa’s passion and what we see on the day!

For this reason, we sometimes run on after 2pm, but Ailsa understands that some of you may not wish to stay so please just head off whenever you need to.

Will you help answer nature's SOS call by adding a £5 gift to this booking? You'll help BBOWT bring nature back across our three counties. Please select a donation ticket option if you wish to donate. You can find out more about our Nature Recovery Fund here.
