About the event

Bird ringing at Woolley Firs takes place throughout the year and provides details about breeding success and migration patterns. The ringers are experts in their field and can answer almost any question about bird breeding, nesting and migration and will show the group the identification features for age and sex of birds before release.

The event will be cancelled if the weather is too wet or too windy. Please ensure that you enter a telephone number on the booking form so that we can contact you.

Families are welcome though content may not be suitable for under 8s.

The site is managed for wildlife. Please bring binoculars if you want to walk around the area after ringing is finished.
