Event details
About the event
This half-day course will give you hands-on experience of foraging and preparing seasonal ingredients to create a gorgeous professional-looking bouquet.
The term ‘round’ is used loosely here, as Kathryn’s floristry style revels in following any weird and wonderfully shaped stems rather than striving for a neat and uniform final design. However, this technique creates a roughly dome shaped bouquet that is visually attractive from all sides. And if you wish yours to be perfectly round, you can make it so! The ‘spiral’ described is the satisfyingly uniform way the stems rest against one another, assisting the structural integrity of your bouquet and giving it a professional finish.
Immerse your senses in summer at the reserve and receive friendly, expert tuition from Kathryn of local eco-florist Green Feather Flowers in creating a unique and beautiful botanical reflection of the season to take home.
