Wildlife gardening: go peat free

You can help preserve vital peatland by going peat free in your garden. Ben's here to show you just how easy it is.

Peat forms over thousands of years, storing CO2 safely below ground - so it's important that we leave it there! Peatlands are also home to many rare plants and insects as well as birds like skylarks and meadow pipits. The good news is, it's really easy to go peat free, as Ben explains in this video.
