About the event

Our Scots Pine Christmas trees are the by-product of heathland management work to reduce shading out of the heather and reduce loss of water through transpiration. They never drop their leaves, and have a wonderful pine scent.

We also sell willow wreaths and stars, both blank for you to decorate and beautifully decorated with natural vegetation.

A range of natural decorations for the house are on sale including holly. mistletoe, dried flowers and pine cones, although holly berries may be in short supply as they are ripening so early this year.

RSPB, BBOWT, Reading Bees and Fair Trade stalls will have a range of Christmas presents, cards and calendars. There will  be bird food, bird boxes, hedgehog boxes as well as local honey and beeswax candles and a whole range of fair trade articles from around the world.
