Event details
About the event
Can you tell a redwing from a fieldfare or a siskin from a greenfinch? Join our volunteer guides to find out what’s around and about on the reserve this time of year and where best to spot it! This birdwatching session comes with a coffee and a cake too so please let us know any dietary preferences (gluten free, vegan etc) when you book!
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear
Our trampers/mobility scooter are available and suitable for the walking route but they do need to be booked in advance and if you have not used them at our site before a training session is required - please email  collegelake@bbowt.org.uk for more information from our visitor centre team. You will need to be able to walk short distances without the tramper to reach some of our hides.
Please be aware:
- Please arrive on time at the Visitor Centre where we will start our walk. The session lasts 3hrs and involves gentle walking around the site with stopping points at hides along the way.
- This activity  takes place outdoors and we recommend appropriate clothing for all weathers.
