About the event

With a focus on larger fungi, learn how to identify the three principal groups and their key features with the help of mycologist and fellow of the Linnean Society London, Clifford Davy. We will be shown a number of pictures, learn how to perform a spore print and how to use a simple key to fungi with gills (Agarics).

We will also enjoy a walk around the reserve to see what fungi we might find and collect a few specimens for further examination.

Please dress according to the weather including sturdy shoes.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
