About the event

Working with natural materials in a safe, fun and environmentally friendly way. 

Exploring our surroundings and learning skills that can help us to survive in the wild.

Suitable for 6-12 years, no need for parental supervision.  Fully supervised small group. 

Wildlife  activities for children to engage with in a small fully supervised group.

Packed full of fun activities as well as fascinating facts to help children connect with the fantastic natural world that surrounds them. 

Over the course of the day, children can expect to:
🌳 Connect with nature and learn lots about the woodland and wildlife at The Nature Discovery Centre.
🌳 Meet new like-minded friends and join our 'Team Wilder' clan
🌳 Learn some bushcraft skills.

🌳Cook over a campfire (depending on weather)

NB Tickets for this event close 48hrs before the start time.

 Terms & conditions

  • Only those booked onto the session can attend as we adhere to strict supervisory ratios.
  • Be sure to fill in and send back the parental consent form when booking.
  • If your child is unwell, please do not send them - just call and let us know.
  • During the session your child will be supported by staff and volunteers to enable them to engage in all activities.  

WHAT TO BRING:
Dress for the weather in clothes and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting a bit grubby. Please check the weather forecast and bring waterproofs, warm layers or wear sun hats and cream, as appropriate. We will be outside for lots of the session.

Please send your child with a picnic and a bottle of water.

This club is for children only - Adults are on site to drop off, register and then pick up at given timings.

Each attendee must complete and return the parental consent form sent out with the ticket information.
