About the event

Join the Wardens for a late evening walk on Greenham Common to witness the strange and wonderful night time antics of the elusive and enigmatic nightjar birds. As it gets dark the nightjar birds wake up and begin their courtship displays – churring, wing clapping and ‘gwipping’. We can’t guarantee that we will see/hear them but we stand a very good chance.

Open to adults and over 11 years only; participants must be prepared to keep quiet so as not to disturb these birds.

Maximum of 8 people per group. 3 groups possible.
