About the event

Are you a nature detective? Come and explore our different habitats at College Lake. Discover the things that plants and animals need to survive and how different habitats provide them.

Activities include self-guided nature exploring, games and crafts, and there is also the opportunity to sign up to our guided workshop at either 11:00-12:00 or 13:00-14:00

Bring a picnic to enjoy during your adventure.

The day is suitable for children aged 4 to 11 years with an accompanying adult (younger and older siblings welcome as long as you can support your children with the activities).

Please be aware:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult who is able to encourage and help them with the activities.
• All activities take place outdoors and we recommend appropriate clothing for all weathers
• This event is suitable for children and families but activities are aimed at 4 -11 years (Adults and children under 2 free)
• These sessions run from 'The Barn'. It takes about 10 mins to walk there from the Visitor Centre
