About the event

An outdoor event at the Nature Discovery Centre.

Find out about wildlife on our reserves and how you and your dog can help protect it.

There will also be live flyball events throughout the day, a fun obstacle course for dogs, a discovery trail for children and their dog buddies, a competition and a raffle.

All dogs must be on leads, please!

Please dress appropriately for the weather.

All children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.

Please check our event listing closer to the time in case of cancellation / postponement due to weather.

All proceeds support local craftspeople and BBOWT’s work in nature recovery.

Know before you go


On a lead
Dogs are welcome on the reserve, but please keep them out of the lake. We ask that you keep dogs under close control at all times. Dogs, except assistance dogs, are not permitted inside the visitor centre.

Wheelchair access

Accessible to wheelchairs but field terrain may be uneven.

What to bring

Please remember to bring water and a bowl for your furry friends. We will have water bowls available but it always best to use your dog’s own bowl!
