About the event

Urbanisation, smaller and tidier gardens with impenetrable fencing, urban drainage, and a replacement of wooden building materials with UPVC have radically reduced food sources and nest sites for hedgehogs, swifts and house martins as well as blocking hedgehogs on their nightly trundles to find food and a mate.

It doesn't have to be that way. Join Barbara Polonara, BBOWT Community Organising Officer, for an insight into the life cycle of these urban cohabitants and find out how you can help them to thrive, and they can help you with some natural pest control in your garden.
