Warburg Volunteer Stockwatcher Role Description

Stockwatchers are required to check the correct number of livestock are present, carry out a visual health check of the animals (training provided), ensure they have adequate water and grazing, and check the integrity of fences and gates. Stockwatchers are also expected to report issues of any other type to BBOWT staff.

Some experience of livestock would be an advantage. Warburg is quite big and hilly so a moderate level of fitness is required to walk across the site as the livestock move. Training will be provided.

This is a solo role, so a willingness to carry out duties unsupervised is essential.
