About the event

Join the Warden for a gentle 2 hour stroll around the reserve, as we listen for different birds living amongst our varied habitats. We will wander down woodland paths, through open chalk grasslands, and get close to the reedbeds along the lake edge in search of different birdlife and their individual songs. Let’s see how many we can find!

The early morning walk would not be complete without a chance to share our experience over a lovely hot drink and pastries enjoyed in our café. Please do let us know in advance if you any dietary requirements or allergies so that we can cater for you. Please email collegelake@bbowt.co.uk

• Suitable for beginners & those with previous experience
• This session runs when the site is closed. Please arrive no earlier than 5am so we can set up and open the gate for your arrival. The walk will begin at 5:15am
