Daubenton's bat by Dale Sutton/2020VISION
Family Night Safari - Sutton Courtenay, Friday 22 May
About the event
Who knows what you might see or hear exploring the reserve after dark? Learn to use bat detectors to hear bats hunting overhead and lamps to spot newts and frogs in the ponds, help our nature reserve team check the small mammal traps and have a look at the moth trap to find out how we monitor and survey these amazing insects! This event will take the form of a led walk, stopping to look for different animals as we move around the various habitats on the reserve.
This event is suitable for families with children aged 8 plus. Strictly no younger children on this one please. You should buy a ticket for each person in your group, adults and children.
Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre.
