About the event

A creative family session inside our lovely education centre. Start by finding out how some of the animals on our nature reserve fly, then use a range of upcycled, natural and craft materials to make your own unique kite to fly away on adventures with. All materials included. There will be different projects for older and younger children, event suitable for 4-11 years with an accompanying adult who is able to support them. This will be an indoor session, but the reserve will be open to attendees for picnics and play (and flying your kite!) between 11:30am and 1pm. If you plan to go exploring please bring wellies and waterproofs!

Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connections to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre.
