We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and dynamic project officer to deliver our Wild Banbury Project. As Wild Banbury Project Officer you will work within the BBOWT Community team to provide advice and inspiration to individuals, local groups and other stakeholders to enable them to take action for wildlife while assisting to develop a community group network across the Cherwell district.

About

The successful applicant will have a track record of community engagement and building productive relationships with partners. You will have experience of working with a wide range of audiences including community groups, volunteers and the general public. You will also have an obvious passion for the natural environment and good general knowledge of wildlife and habitats. A passion for enabling change at local level and inspiring action is key for this role.

 

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

Other Information

Salary: £8,800 pro rata per year (FTE £22,000)

Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months 14 Hours per week (0.4 FTE)

Based: Homeworking with regular travel to Banbury for project delivery and meetings
