Family Trail: Hedgehog Adventure - Sutton Courtenay, Thursday 29 October
About the event
Autumn is in full swing and hedgehogs are busy preparing for their winter hibernation. Come and join us on our beautiful nature reserve for a day of exploration, play and discovery. Follow the trail around the reserve with Harry the hedgehog as he searches for a safe winter hideaway, and get some ideas for how YOU can help hedgehogs too. Make a hedgehog-themed craft to take home and don't forget to join us for live storytelling at 11:30am. Our quiet space with books and a sensory tray will be open in the classroom too.
There is lots of space to play and picnic, bring a packed lunch and make a day of it. Hot drinks and squash available, small cash donation appreciated. Suitable for families with children aged 4 to 11 years (younger siblings may also attend and do not need a ticket). All children must be accompanied by an adult. The event runs from 10am-2pm, please arrive at a time that suits you within that window, last entry 1pm. Please note storytelling will be at 11:30am only.
We are committed to keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Please DO NOT attend if you are unwell, or testing positive for an infectious illness, such as COVID-19. Your consideration is hugely appreciated.
Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre. what3words///unloads.latter.laces
