About the event

Visit the Nature Discovery Centre to meet local beekeepers and enthusiasts and discover the amazing beneficial effects that bees have on our environment.

Attractions include learning displays, a trail around the reserve, local honey, plants for pollinators and bee-related activities for children. 

The visitor centre and café are open as usual, serving a range of hot and cold food, drinks and ice-creams, along with nature-related gifts in the shop.

The event is free entry and parking is plentiful, with a suggested £3 donation charge per car.

Dogs are welcome on the reserve, but please keep them out of the lake. We ask that you keep dogs under close control at all times. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the visitor centre on a lead.
