About the event

Make the most of the summer holidays with a lovely day out on the nature reserve for the whole family. Expect wildlife themed fun all over the nature reserve - minibeast hunting, bird spotting, stream dipping, live storytelling, big mud kitchen, water and sensory play, crafts, transform into a minibeast in the dress up basket and much more! Activities are primarily aimed at preschool and primary aged children, but ALL are welcome.

Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at our picnic tables and stop by the education centre for a cuppa and a delicious slice of cake.  We'll have hot drinks and cakes for sale - cash preferred. Don't forget to buy a ticket for the raffle too for your chance to win some wildlife themed goodies. (Raffle tickets available online in advance or on the day)

The centre is accessible by car, bike and public transport (buses to Milton Park, and trains to Didcot Parkway with a regular bus link). what3words ///unloads.latter.laces

Car parking for this event will be offsite at Crowcon (a business on Milton Park who are kindly supporting us), a few minutes walk from the centre. Drop off and disabled parking will be onsite as usual. Please look out for an email giving you a map and clear directions to the parking - and signage on the day.

We are committed to keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Please DO NOT attend if you or your child are unwell, or testing positive for an infectious illness, such as COVID-19. Your consideration is hugely appreciated.
