Day Camp, Unbelievable Birds - Sutton Courtenay, Wednesday 8 April
Location:
Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre, Sutton Courtenay Road, Didcot, Oxfordshire, OX14 4TE
A day camp for 8-12 year olds at Sutton Courtenay learning about the incredible features of birds.
About the event
There will be games, trails and investigations to find out how birds can fly, why they lay eggs, why their bones are different from mammals, how they communicate and so much more.
You will learn about the evolution of birds from dinosaurs and find out which animals are most closely related to birds today. You will also discover that some birds around the world behave in very different ways.
Most of the day will be spent outside on the reserve so that we can observe birds in action.
