About the event

Join warden Mick Jones for a fascinating field visit to the wildlife-rich scrubby clearings at Dancersend reserve. Help with the ongoing butterfly research and enjoy finding some of the special invertebrates for which the site is well-known.

There is sloping rough ground which may be slippery after rain. Stout footwear and old clothes advised as some activity will involve delving into blocks of scrub and kneeling down. Bring close-focussing binoculars and hand lenses if you have them. Suitable for all, including children from 8 years old. PLEASE NOTE this is NOT the normal meeting place for the reserve.

£5.00 for adults, £3.00 for children.
