Volunteer Taster Day - Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre
About the event
Whether you have just an hour, a day or a week to give, and whatever your skills, there’s an opportunity for you to volunteer with the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) near where you live. Come and have a taster of hands on conservation on this volunteer taster day.
You will be joining hundreds of other people from all walks of life who volunteer with the Wildlife Trust. As well as being a great way to meet people, learn new skills and gain valuable experience that could help you start a career in conservation, volunteering with the Wildlife Trust will give you the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping to protect and enhance your local environment to benefit wildlife and connect people with nature.
This event is part of the Oxford Festival of nature which is a two week festival of all things nature run by BBOWT and collaborative partners across the city of Oxford. It runs between the 25 May 2019 – 9 June 2019. There are so many events to come along to and learn about wildlife and nature around you. From comedy nights to children’s night-time safaris – there is something that everyone can take part in.
