Event details
About the event
Here on the nature reserve there is a range of different habitats, each providing for different plants and animals.
Come discover the things a habitat must provide in order for plants and animals to survive, learn who lives where and make a bird feeder to help improve your garden habitat for birds.
Sign up for a stream sampling session when you arrive, led by our activities and engagement lead.
PLEASE BRING YOUR WELLIES so you can wade in the stream during the workshop (water levels permitting).
Most activities will be outdoors - please come dressed for the weather.
We will provide a quiet reading and play space in the hide-in-the-sky too.
The day is suitable for children aged 4 to 11 years with an accompanying adult (it's fine to bring younger siblings along so long as you can still support your older child with the activities).
Take advantage of our onsite café for a drink and a bite to eat while you’re here.
