Let's celebrate!

Butterfly orchid 60th anniversary

BBOWT 60th Anniversary

We have taken the decision to cancel these events given the on-going health crisis. Apologies for any inconvenience.

From beech woods in the Chilterns to flower meadows along the Thames, the trust cares for all sorts of precious habitats and rare species. Loyal support from yourself and other likeminded individuals has meant we have achieved a lot over our history and are able to continue working hard to ensure wildlife thrives for future generations to enjoy. We would like to invite you to join us at one of our celebration events:

•    Friday 3 July – College Lake Nature Reserve
•    Saturday 4 July – Woolley Firs
•    Sunday 5 July – Warburg Nature Reserve

This is an invite only event for you and likeminded longstanding supporters of the Trust. We ask that each member books onto no more than one event to ensure as many people can join us to celebrate as possible. We are expecting these events to be popular so would advise you to book your place as soon as possible.

School children at College Lake

Friday 3 July - College Lake

Join us to explore our beautiful reserve created on the site of an old chalk quarry. College Lake is widely regarded as one of the best places in Buckinghamshire for water birds with many hides overlooking the lake.

Woolley Firs Education Centre

Saturday 4 July - Woolley Firs

Take this rare opportunity to visit a site that is not usually open to the public. You will be shown the varied woodland and 300 year-old farm, both managed in order to encourage species such as stag beetle and brown long-eared bat.

Warburg walk

Sunday 5 July - Warburg

Nestled in the stunning scenery of the Chilterns, Warburg Nature Reserve is a remote and magnificent place. Join us for a tour through this inspiring nature reserve, rich in beautiful plants and animals throughout the year.
