Land Management Advisor

The ideal candidate will have a nature conservation background, with experience in delivering and implementing land management advice on farmed land, ideally within a consultancy environment, and an interest in sustainable agriculture.

The purpose of this role is to deliver the Trust’s growing in-house Land Advice Service. The Land Management Advisor will deliver work for paying clients across the three counties and develop relationships with landowners who, with the Trust’s support, wish to manage their land sympathetically for wildlife. This work will include supporting applications for agri-environment schemes and delivery of associated land management work, providing advice on nature-friendly land management, and undertaking farm wildlife surveys. This role has principal responsibility for day-to-day management of the Service, and will be working collaboratively in a small dedicated team.
