HR Director

Are you a HR professional focused on business outcomes who is passionate about wildlife and believes everyone should have the chance to experience its wonders?  If so, we need you to support our chief executive and wider team to secure our vision for nature’s recovery in our three counties. 

With 150 staff and 1,800 volunteers and supported by 52,000 members, Berks Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust is embarking on a new phase in its development as it pursues its strategic plan Be Part of Nature’s Recovery.  In the face of the growing challenges facing our beautiful countryside, real leadership is needed at all levels in the organisation combined with courage and urgency.

We are looking for a Human Resources Director to champion our values and develop our people to help the CEO create the highest impact team possible to lead us forward in this increasingly challenging environment. With staff distributed across ten locations one of the role’s purposes is to support the development of a one team culture.

This is a new role and we want the best person with the best fit for us at a critical time so we can be flexible about your hours. Initially we estimate 21 hours per week will work for us. We are particularly keen to receive applications from under-represented groups in our society.
