Get involved with wildlife - volunteer today!
Volunteers are the foundation of the success of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust and we need your help! Chances are there is plenty you can do close to your home which will benefit the environment and wildlife in your area!
As a volunteer you will be able to:
- Join a network of over 1,300 people committed to maintaining and securing the future of local habitats and species
- Contribute to our efforts while having fun, meeting new friends and learning new skills
- Choose from a wide range of opportunities, from looking after nature reserves to office work
- Make a positive contribution to your local area and community, whether urban or rural
What some of our volunteers do:
- Practical work on our reserves: join your local work party and get fit!
- Community groups: organise work parties, events and community meetings on urban reserves.
- Conservation trainees: placements based in Maidenhead or Oxford to give people interested in a career in conservation practical experience and training.
- Employee volunteering: give your employees the opportunity to build essential team skills, have an enjoyable and rewarding day working for wildlife on our reserves.
You don’t need to be an expert. If you’d like to help but don’t have any experience, full training can be provided.
