Government rejects wildlife-friendly recommendations in Natural England report on HS2

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is extremely disappointed by the Government’s rejection of findings in a Natural England report that reviews HS2 Ltd’s approach to wildlife. The report, which was published on 9 November, was prepared in response to complaints raised by the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust and other conservation organisations at House of Commons Select Committee hearings.

As a result Mrs Gillan asked a written question of the Secretary of State for the Dept. of Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra).
