About the event

Wildlife needs our help! Come along to the nature reserve and discover lots of ways we can all become wildlife heroes. Follow the #TeamWilder trail to get some ideas and enjoy the summer nature reserve, then take part in lots of activities to help make YOU a wildlife hero. Wildlife garden bingo, becoming a citizen scientist identifying and recording wildlife, planting seeds, building a bug hotel, testing your recycling knowledge with our recycling challenge and more - don't forget to join us for a live storytelling session with games!

This event is suitable for children aged 4-11 years with an accompanying adult. There will be a range of activities with links across the curriculum, and a lovely chance to meet other local home educating families in a beautiful outdoor setting. Most activities will be self-led, with the chance to sign up for a led workshop with our learning team on arrival (this month including a live story telling session and some games). We run home educators' days on a bimonthly basis, keep an eye on the website for more dates or ask to join our mailing list.

We are committed to keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Please DO NOT attend if you or your child are unwell, or testing positive for an infectious illness, such as COVID-19. Your consideration is hugely appreciated.
