You are invited to Sutton Courtenay's Mini-beast Bop! Discover all about the different bugs and beasties that live here through stories, trails and creative activities.

Please dress up in your finest mini-beast costume to celebrate - why not become a butterfly, caterpillar, or maybe even a snail! Anyone dressed up will win a little prize.

Event suitable for pre-school children. Booking essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Joining Instructions

Activities are aimed at children between 18 months and 4 years.

There is one small car park at the centre, please park as neatly as possible to ensure we can fit everyone in.

Advertised sessions will run whatever the weather, so please come dressed appropriately.

The area does not get very muddy and walking distances are appropriate for little ones.

The site is not open to the public, but parents / carers should be aware that we have a fenced pond next to the Education Centre Please ask if you would like to see our full risk assessment.

Most areas can be accessed with buggies (especially 3-wheelers).

Shelter will be available if the weather is particularly bad.

Toilets, hand washing and nappy changing facilities are all available.

A snack break is included in each session. Fruit, biscuits and squash/water are available for the children and tea/coffee for adults.

Some ingredients we use in activities or refreshments may contain allergens e.g. milk, oats, gluten etc, It is important that you email the activity organiser before the event date if you or your child has a severe allergy. We can then advise you accordingly.

The maximum number of children per session is 20.

Please note Sutton Courtenay road is closed till 16th November, this will affect you if you are approaching the centre from Sutton Courtenay village. Please follow the diversion signs or come via the A34 and come through Milton Park. Please contact the centre for further information.
