Look for summer butterflies and flowers in the woods and meadows of Moor Copse. Marbled White and Silver-washed Fritillary butterflies can be abundant. In the hay meadows, we should see the flowers of Great Burnet, Pepper-saxifrage and Betony, together with many butterflies, grasshoppers and other insects.

Uneven ground, could be muddy, distance 2 miles.

Venue location

Moor Copse is at Tidmarsh, between Theale and Pangbourne. Meet at the reserve car park, on the east side of the A340, 200m north of the bridge over the M4,
