Event details

Sat, 10/02/2018 - 8:15am - 10:00am

Bird populations are monitored closely at Woolley Firs. Join us for a bird ringing session and see some of our local species close up. There will be a chance for some people to handle and release the birds. BOOKING ESSENTIAL

You can then walk around the site to see how the Wildlife Trust is managing the land to support farmland and woodland birds.  Expect to see yellowhammers.

This event is aimed at adults, although children over 11-years old are welcome if they are really interested. The main thing is no loud noises or jiggly movements.

Please remember to come dressed for the weather and you are welcome to bring a camera or binoculars.

When 'none available' is shown above, the event/time slot/ticket type is fully booked.

From time to time BBOWT will send you information about how we are helping local wildlife via email, mail or by phone. If you do not wish to be contacted in future please let BBOWT know.

Fall in love with your local wildlife this February, part of our Wild at Heart campaign.
