Vine House Farm - bird foodVine House Farm is no ordinary bird food supplier. The Watts family, who run the Lincolnshire Fens farm, is dedicated to managing their land in a wildlife friendly way. As much bird food as possible is grown in the local area and packaged on site.

Tales of the Hedgerows (Editor: Lew Lewis)
This is a wonderful collection of over 60 short stories about the wildlife, places and people of West Berkshire. The stories and their charming illustrations, all by local authors and artists, were compiled by Lew Lewis who is a fine naturalist and a well-known local personality.
The stories first appeared in the Newbury Weekly News between 1979 and 1996, offering entertaining tales of the countryside and wildlife we are so lucky to have on our doorsteps.
Thanks to Lew, all proceeds from the book will benefit wildlife conservation through the Newbury District Ornithological Club and BBOWT.
The book will be on sale at local meetings of NDOC and BBOWT and also directly, priced £8 from Roger Dobbs.
