Leave a Legacy
Leaving a gift in your will to the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust is a wonderful way to make a lasting contribution to local wildlife. Gifts like these, no matter how small, can help us nurture and protect our wild spaces, so that precious species can thrive for future generations.
Remember a Charity Week 13 - 19 September
Gifts in wills are a vital part of BBOWT's income. Without them, we would struggle to continue our work. That’s why we're taking part in Remember A Charity Week, 13-19 September. We are not asking for a donation. We are simply asking for people to give a thought to their favourite charity. And when the time is right, after taking care of their loved ones, we hope they'll remember us in their will and help our work live on.
Recent legacies have helped BBOWT to:
- restore a wet meadow on the Upper River Ray to help protect wading birds, like redshank, snipe and curlew
- double the size of our Finemere Wood Nature Reserve in Bucks, important for the nationally rare black hairstreak butterfly
- maintain our Warburg Nature Reserve in Oxon – one of our most diverse and popular reserves.
