Earn Gold Award badges (over 8s)
Eight challenges lead to eight different badges including…
- be a newshound and report on an environmental story
- have a wild idea and create a wildlife artwork
- become an expert on British wildlife
Earn Starlets stickers (5-7s) Do wildlife activities and earn gold stars, big Buzz stickers, and a Watch Starlet zipper pull
You can do Gold Award or Starlets projects on your own or get inspiration at a Family Watch Event. If you are not yet a Family Watch member, join us and receive lots of ideas to get started. Join a Watch GroupWatch groups (usually for children aged 8-11) meet once a week or once a month to do wildlife activities under the guidance of a Wildlife Watch leader to go on a wildflower hunt, learn to identify spiders and woodlice, or do pond dipping. There are vacancies with groups that meet at:
